DiceKeeper
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
DiceKeeper is a game based on Farkle (also commonly referred to as just dice).
You are tasked with reaching a certain point threshold, once you do, then the new goal is set, and you will receive a collectible dice as a reward from the choice of 3.
Each collectible die has special properties that make you stronger, which you'll need in order to beat the ever-increasing goals.
How to play
When the dice stop moving you'll enter a selection phase, in this phase you'll have to select a valid combination of dice, and you can select multiple combinations (or groups). You can see the possible combinations at any time by holding TAB.
What do the buttons do?
- Pass will pass to the next turn without scoring anything, and remove any turn points you might have, you should only use it when there are no valid dice combinations.
- Pass and score will pass to the next turn and add points from the turn points and selected combinations to the main score.
- Pass and continue will NOT spend turn and will add points to turn points, but you will only roll the remaining dice increasing the risk of not getting a valid combination but with a chance to score higher in that turn, when there are no remaining dice you will roll 6 dice.
Upon reaching the point goal, you will be given a die from the choice of 3 collectible dice with special abilities, and your turns remaining will be reset to 5.
The game ends when your turns remaining reaches 0.
